TAPESTRY celebrated twenty years of song June, 2005!

Concerts are posted when they are confirmed.

Tapestry will present two spring/summer concerts for 2008 as they again participate in two well-know art festivals.

The ensemble has again been invited to sing at the Chenango Festival in Hamilton, NY. On Saturday, June 21, at 10:15AM, Tapestry will sing a selection of French madrigals on the lawn at the Park United Methodist Church, the red brick church near the village green. If there is rain that morning, the concert will be held in the Palace Theater. The concert is free.

Westminster Presbyterian Church, 714 Washington Street, Utica, will host Tapestry on Monday, July 7, at 6:00 pm, as part of the Utica Monday Nite Sacred Music Series. This performance of early Christian Church music includes Missa Eclectica, a selection of liturgical music written for the Roman Catholic Mass, each by a different composer. The concert will close dramatically with Edgar L. Bainton’s 20th Century piece, And I Saw a New Heaven, accompanied by Lauralee Driscoll on the organ. This performance is also free.
